History
The Fiddler's Companion reports that;
"Lemonville Jig" was composed by Canadian musician Jack Hayes. The tune has entered English Country Dance repertoire from the playing of Willy Taylor, popular especially in the north of England. The village of Lemonville is in Whitchurch Township, York County, Ontario, Canada.
